🏀 What is Aarhus Streetball League?
Aarhus Streetball League is an attempt to build a stronger 3×3 and streetball community in Aarhus.
The goal is to make it easier for players to find games, create teams, play competitive 3×3, and meet other players in the city.
Teams arrange their own matches through the website and agree on when and where to play.
👥 Who is it for?
ASBL is for players aged 16+ who enjoy 3×3, streetball, and competitive basketball.
All levels are welcome — streetballers, former club players, recreational players, friend groups, and players looking for teammates.
You can join as a full team of 3–5 players, create a team after making an account, or sign up as a free agent.
📅 Season Format
The first season is a test season.
- Round-robin format
- 1 game to 21 points per match
- 1 league point per win
- Teams schedule their own games through the website
- Playoffs and Grand Final for the top teams
- Prize: 500 DKK to the winning team
📍 Where to play
Teams can play wherever they want, as long as both teams agree.
Pakhus 77 is a good suggestion, but not the only option.
Always follow the rules of the court/location.
📏 Rules
Game
- 3 players on the court
- Up to 5 players per team
- First to 21 points wins
- No win by 2
- No game clock during the test season
- Winner’s ball after made baskets
- Ball must be checked behind the arc before play continues
Scoring
- 1 point inside the arc
- 2 points behind the arc

How the Game Starts
- Before each game, the two teams decide who starts with the ball.
- You can decide by shooting for ball, flipping a coin, or playing rock-paper-scissors.
- The game starts with a check ball behind the arc.
Possession
- After a made basket, the scoring team keeps the ball.
- After every change of possession, the ball must be cleared behind the arc before attacking.
- At least one foot must be behind the arc before play continues.
Fouls
Games are self-called.
- Foul on a missed shot: 1 free throw
- Foul on a made basket: basket counts, no extra free throw
- First non-shooting foul: check ball
- 2 non-shooting fouls before the opponent scores: 1 free throw
- After a made basket, the team foul count resets
- Made free throw = shooting team keeps the ball
- Missed free throw = defending team gets the ball
Disputes
If teams disagree on any call and cannot agree quickly, shoot for ball or ask someone outside the game to help with the call.
Keep the game moving.
Fair Play
ASBL is built on respect.
Trash talk is part of streetball, but personal insults, threats, racism, discrimination, or aggressive behaviour are not allowed.
